Happy Birthday, Canton Montessori School! On September 9, 2008, CMS will celebrate 40 years of serving families from our community with excellence in education.

Canton Montessori School holds the promise of a bright future. By turning challenges into opportunities we have proven our sustainability.

Today we are asking for your help to continue our tradition of changing the world one child and family at a time. It is our privilege to inform you that as part of our 40th anniversary CMS is launching a renewal campaign called Inspire the Mind.

The committed members of the Board and staff have a well reasoned plan based on realistic projections. The $485,000 Renewal Campaign will enable us to enhance and strengthen programs and services to our families.

On March 24, 2008, the Timken Foundation approved a $100,000 matching grant for our Campaign. For every $1 we raise, the Timken Foundation will donate $1 up to $100,000.

CMS is grateful to the Timken Foundation for recognizing the significance of our school to greater Stark County and its families. Permanent recognition of the 2008 renewal campaign donors will be established at the school as an inspiration for generations that follow.

Our Inspire the Mind Renewal Campaign is designed to enable us to continue our service to young children (infants through Grade 3). However, without the support of the community, we cannot achieve our vision or support our mission.
