About Our School
Serving Greater Canton, Stark County and the surrounding area since 1968, Canton Montessori School (CMS) provides quality programming to children 18 months through Grade 8 based upon the education philosophies and principles of the Montessori method. CMS’s purpose is to meet the developmental needs of children of all economic backgrounds through an enriching and nurturing environment. CMS also strives to support and assist parents and staff in the development of their roles and to share its experiences and expertise with the wider community.
At Canton Montessori School we strive to develop each and every child to their fullest potential, both as a student and as a person. Standardized lesson plans are replaced by individualized plans designed to keep our students challenged, and their love of learning alive – for a lifetime.
