Canton Montessori School is committed to promoting quality and professional Montessori care to foster the development of basic trust and to assist in the development of the individual personality. These key concepts are the foundation of the CMS program.
Our elementary environments (classrooms) offered from grades one through six, develop an interest for your child in learning how to learn as well as the content of that learning, Biology, Geology, History, Mathematics and Language Skills are all emphasized for your child. In addition, emotional and intellectual skills are combined to encourage your child to become a sensitive, self motivated learner.
Your elementary student will be provided with a curriculum rich in academics and interpersonal skills
CMS understands children as social beings that enjoy working individually and in small groups.
Students are encouraged to become creative thinkers and problems solvers.
